• Four Scanning Modes: This stud finder offers four scanning modes for various detection needs. The STUD SCAN mode is used to find and locate the center and edges of wood or metal studs up to 3/4 in (19mm) deep. The DEEP MODE is ideal for scanning walls up to 1.5 in (38mm) deep. The METAL SCAN mode detects metal up to 2.25 in (60mm) deep, while the AC SCAN mode locates live AC wires up to 2 in (51mm) deep.
• Graphical LCD Display: The stud finder features a graphical LCD display that provides visual cues for detection mode, signal strength, automatic calibration, and battery indication. The Low Battery Indicator icon alerts you when the battery level is low, prompting you to replace the 9-volt battery.
• Sound Warning: This multi-function stud finder offers a beep signal alert when an object is detected. The audible alert and the graphical screen help you accurately locate objects. A peck shape will display on the screen, indicating the object's location. The audible and visible cues ensure you are informed when metal, studs, or live wiring is detected.
• Automatic Calibration: The stud finder automatically calibrates itself when turned on. Hold the stud finder on a wall without wood studs, AC wires, or metal to calibrate. The automatic calibration is accurate and precise, providing maximum reliability and reducing errors in detection.
• Package Includes: The stud finder does not contain the battery for transportation safety reasons. It includes the stud finder device and user manual.
